Maybe this time our understanding of internet marketing that is selling via the Internet. Actually it is not wrong because judging from the definition, it is the internet marketing online through internet marketing. Well, if we've talked marketing, means that not only sales but also includes the promotion, branding, and build relationships with customers who done online.

So, what's the point we do internet marketing (online marketing)? Of course, every business - whether offline business owners and online business owner - definitely want to increase their sales results or want to make them even more famous brand. Well, the internet is one of the best media to provide information to Internet users (Netter) about their business, and also as a medium for selling the products they have.

In order to facilitate us to understand more about internet marketing, I will try to explain in a more simple way, and give some examples of forms of internet marketing is usually done by the internet marketer. Form of internet marketing that can be divided into two parts, namely as a Source of Income, and Method Promotion. Internet marketing is done in fact only two, but type business very much.

I. Internet Marketing For Source of Income (Source of Income)

Nowadays, the Internet has become one of the lifestyle of the people in Indonesia, especially for those who have a gadget with the latest technology such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops. 1. PPC (Pay Per Click)

Program PPC (Pay Per Click) is mostly done by the owner of the website / blog to earn money from their site. Income earned from this PPC program is derived from the clicks made by the visitor / visitors who are interested in an ad on the site. The publisher or owner of the site will be paid per click made by visitors to the site, where the price per click is already determined in advance by the Advertiser / advertiser. 3. PPL (Pay Per Lead) 

It is an affiliate program where the seller / vendor will give you a commission every time we managed to get leads on the seller / vendor. For example we redirect internet users to register with the email newsletter, free trial, or fill out a form, through an affiliate link ours. One company that offers a PPL program is MaxBounty.com.

4. Selling Your Own Product or Other People's Products 

Nowadays, sell something over the Internet is not something extraordinary. We can sell any products via the Internet whether it be physical or digital form. In addition, our offline business can also be marketed through the internet. For example we had a business selling fried onions, selling only via the Internet, surely there is a buy :)In addition to selling its own products, we also can earn money by selling other people's products, be it physical products or digital products. One of the internet marketing by selling other people's products is to become a reseller or dropshipper other people's products. Likewise with the digital products, we can become an affiliate marketer for a product sold to others.

5. Bidding (Online Auction) 

The internet is also a place to sell something of ours or someone else's that we help sell product, by way of auction. Surely this can be beneficial because we can sell our goods is the person who bid the highest price.

II. Internet Marketing For Online Promotion (Traffic Generation) 

As already mentioned at the beginning of the article, online promotion is one form of internet marketing. No matter what product or business who want to be promoted, the internet is the one medium that is very effective for brand building and create a business website we known.

There are many ways to promote your business through the medium of the Internet, including through SEO (Search Engine Optimization), through PPC Advertising (PPC Advertising), Email Marketing, Mobile Advertising, and Social Media Marketing.Related article: Facts about online business

1. PPC Advertising (PPC Ads) 

Unlike the PPC program for the publisher, PPC Ads program is intended for Advertiser / advertisers who want to promote their business. In this case we as advertisers have to spend money in order for the companies running PPC Ads we display ads on their network of publisher sites. 3. Email Marketing 

As the name implies, email marketing is the process of marketing a product or service by using email as a tool. Email marketing is also an assortment of its kind, there are direct mail, email retention, and advertise in other people's email. Marketing through email is usually very effective as a promotion or sales letter can be directly sent to the owner of the email account.

An important note to remember is that we should not do SPAM because it would interfere with other people, and certainly would be detrimental to our own because the owner can do unscribe email or email us to enter into the list of spammer.

4. Mobile Advertising 

Mobile advertising is, advertising services through mobile devices. Smartphone users are now numerous, and usually take them wherever they go phones. This is what makes mobile advertising is very effective for business promotion media. Some models of mobile ads is via SMS, MMS, Banner Ads, Games, and others.

5. Social Media Marketing 

As with SEO, online promotion using social media can be done for free. As we know, the users of social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and YouTube, it had been very much. And this is a very effective media campaign to market any products through the internet.

6. Marketing Through Forum 

Now there are a lot of forums that are made specifically to discuss certain topics. An example is Kaskus.co.id. This forum to discuss various topics ranging from politics, business, national, and much more. One sub forum Kaskus specifically for online merchants who want to market their products through Kaskus. Besides Kaskus, there are still some more forums that can be used as an online marketing media, will be discussed in another article.

So little explanation of what it is internet marketing, and media that can be used for online marketing. Indeed there are many ways to do internet marketing, but we do not have to do everything because not all methods of marketing can be successful we do.
